Five million more doses of the Chinese Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine will be delivered to Thailand this month, bringing the total to 10 million, with the inoculation of children aged 3-17 being considered.

According to the Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA), which is the only non-governmental agency importing vaccines for the Thai public, five million doses of China’s Sinopharm have already been delivered, with the latest lot having arrived on Sunday (August 1st). Three more batches, totaling five million doses, will arrive in mid and late August.

8.9 million doses have already been allocated to private entities, local government organisations, vulnerable members of society, such as the elderly, bedridden patients, priests, those in crowded communities and others without access to vaccines, as well as other members of the public.

Don't forget the dogs and cats too.

The faster we exhaust the supply of Chinese vaccines, the sooner we will see an end to this.

Source and numbers, please! Check the roadway death statistics by age group. That's the real tragedy.

This link indicates number of deaths of children of which some are under 10 in Brazil. Also give information as regards to children deaths in US. Road deaths are not infectious disease.

Absolutely! And so far the Thai govt. has purchased exactly 0 doses of RDV (Roadway Death Vaccine) to put a stop to this contagious disease! Shocking!!!

In other words (just like..."we're considering a lockdown..."), there will be a campaign to vaccinate children.   Now it's just a question of which vaccine kids will get.   Sinovac already has emergency use clearance in China for 3 to 17 year olds.   So that's what poor kids will get, and those who can pay or are connected will probably just patiently wait for Pfizer.

Will they never learn? Sinovac from Sinopharm only boosts the immune system for a few months, why oh why do they persist in using something that has no long term effects. ????????????

I'm presuming you mean and not from as they are separate but similar companies.

In the case of Sinovac, that hasn't been determined. Lab tests do show lower antibody levels. But lower antibody levels don't mean that a vaccine is ineffective. T cell response is actually the more important determinant.

No animal or long-term testing results available for these novel, protein-spike producing 'vaccines', and now being mulled for injecting into children who have virtually 0% of being seriously harmed by C-19.?

Utterly beggars belief..

Similar companies. What that mean? Sinovac and Sinopharm are from different manufacturers.

Is Sinopharm any good? Not that much about it online...

I have also searched for differences in SinoVac and Sinopharm online.  Not too many test results available when it comes to the Delta variant, and I suspect they want it that way.

Both produce a similar product (vaccine).

Now I remember why I stopped posting on this forum ..... Duh!

Aren't both Sinovac and Sinopharm , "traditional vaccines", using weakened or killed virus?  All flu vaccines are only around 35% effective anyway, yet 35 is way better than zero.  An experimental drug, such as the mRNA, inherently has a higher risk factor, since time will tell if there are cell alterations that were unforeseen.  And enough time has not passed.  In general, isn't it true that people who are not as healthy, have a higher risk?  If you recovered from c19, your T-cell and residual antibodies are most likely sufficient, unless you are in bad health.
