It's like drinking a quadruple espresso of the strongest coffee, that's all. Nothing remarkable. I suppose that if you are doing manual work, it would give you a boost. 

 

 

Read in wikipedia the reason why Thailand forbid kratom. Spoiler alert: money.

Indonesia, a muslim country!, exports tons of kratom all around the world.

There were only 9 countries of 195 in the world which listed kratom once, as narcotic.

It's said, take up to 4-5 gram, you ll get an energy boost, above that and you can sleep well.
