Health officials have reported a surge in people taking COVID-19 tests at Prachuap Hospital after the discovery of a cluster from a private birthday party in Kuiburi.

In recent weeks, scores of people have taken COVID-19 tests at the hospital with staff saying they are currently testing more than 300 people per day.

Previously, medical technicians worked 2 rounds a day, but now, due to the increasing number of people seeking tests, hospital staff have been forced to open the testing laboratory 24 hours per day.

300 per day must have been a very large birthday party

Got to say it - happy birthday!

And they just can´t understand to refrain from that now. Moreover, they cry for test and help after unleashing their stupidity.

Don't test them but them in in quarantine for 3 weeks..... all the partygoers in in one room .. It will teach them  If they are so stupid and they just don't get it than they don't need to overload the nurses and doctors because of them stupidity.

Start coming down hard on these party goers... families or friends I don't care...

heavy fines, suspended sentences with community care helping the Covid sick in quarantine

Maybe they will see what happens when people are infected.

haha, wishful thinking, no chance

seem to remember this is not the first time .....

I have no sympathy that these people got infected with the virus.  Getting together in groups is still dangerous.                                                                                                  I have 3 relatives in Bangkok who caught COVID. One has died, and the other 2 are in their home, as there is no room for them in any

hospital. One of them is on oxygen, and will likely die at home as she is very old.  Her son may survive as he had

his 2 shots and is not too sick feeling. They were all trying their best not to get infected, but the Delta variant

is so contagious, and unfortunately who ever was shopping may have caught the virus at a food store or

market. Other relatives have to ride the BTS every day to get to work and they are very scared that they will

also catch COVID and hope that they can get the vaccination soon. Until the pandemic is truly over, people should stay

cautious.
