Yes. Other doctors in the west were saying this back in spring 2020 but they were quickly shot down in the media, devoiced in youtube, etc.

This thai doctor describes what has just happened in India - most people got sick and acquired natural immunity from the live virus, the wave went down. The number of detected infections is bs everywhere, real numbers are in billions now, mortality rate is very low. What happened in India is now happening in Thailand, give it another month to play out.

1000 people dying a week on average now. I don't call that low. 1 month you say.  Let's see. By then testing will probably be less than 30,000 so you might be right. What you don't see won't hurt you or so the saying goes.

This morning the same news in the Netherlands.. They wrote that 700.000  vaccinated people will get Covid because for some unknown reason their immunity system is not working properly. In the same article the doctors claim that everyone who is not vaccinated will get Covid.

what is wrong with some Thai people - this is ridiculous

They're a little dim.

In reality someone who has just recovered from COVID is going to be the safest person to be around for a long time to come.

Officially 433,063 and 31,536,224 recovered, according to worldometers.info; but I guess the figures will be rubbished as usual.

All official numbers should be rubbished, as they don't reflect true situations - anywhere.

whats the deaths count from Covid now, 8,500  in 20 months ?

numbers so small compared to other ways people die in Thailand

If not for the media hype, lockdowns, etc, how many would even know or care with such small numbers

That's manipulation of statistics. 20 months is irrelevant, because for the 1st year there were fewer than 100 deaths. Most of that number are since April, 2021.

However, they are all we have to go on, even if inaccurate. It's still preferable to people rubbishing the numbers and making up their own.

Had no idea this sort of thing was going on - infantile stupid people

Same thing happened near to me, a local Thai who contracted Covid in a factory has been shunned by the neighbours, no-one talks to or even offers help.

Home isolation took on a new meaning.

8500 in 20 months but 7879 since April 1st (142 days) - about 55 a day on average

“Their boss doesn’t let them go back to work."

this is somewhat happening at my job. One guy got covid and worked in an an office of 3 and that had a a lot of interaction with the next office over with 3 in it. none of the other people tested positive.

After he was in isolation for 2 weeks, then 2 weeks at home, now only 1 person can come to work each day in both offices, and the day the covid guy comes in , no one comes in the other office either.

This is total BS there are no jobs to go back to at the moment most of Thailand is closed for business it’s okay for the doctor his job is more than safe regardless of Covid as there are always sick people

It was only yesterday that I was reading that there were plenty of jobs available in Thailand and the issue in reality is it is jobs formerly occupied by people from neighboring countries, who have now gone back due to Covid.  Thais are not keen on these lowly low paid jobs, so perhaps their kids aren't hungry enough or Thai industry needs to bring wages up higher than near slave labour levels.

The government and health care organizations have purposefully stoked "the fear or Covid-19" to "11" on the Spinal Tap volume knob.  What should they expect?  A rational public.  They've told the public globally since March 2020 to cower in fear.  So now the majority - irrationally - cower in fear.

I agree with the doctor.  Live with it or destroy society as it once was, which may be the point.
They reap what they have sown.

So, you are okay with letting the virus run rampant like in India earlier this year.

India had a massive spike in mid-May, a month after 10m+ unprotected people gathered for the Kumbh Mela. Coincidence?

And could you say why the US hasn't had the same thing as their current infection numbers are 5 times that of India despite having only a quarter of the Indian population figure? And it is rising in the US but falling in India.

Thank you for that information. It's fascinating how people are just ignoring it because it doesn't fit the narrative. It seems that many need to believe that the vaccines will be the solution that brings us back to normal life. I suppose if you've taken the jab or even just fully committed to taking it, you're generally not open to any information that'll put your decision into question.

I think that is harsh.... it is more likely a lack of research that supports the position. The Invermectin itself did not stop infection but it is claimed to be an effective treatment for those with mild to severe symptoms. Surely the vaccinations are more effective in relation to reducing those mild to severe symptoms.

Prevention is better than cure is it not?
