Whilst I 100% believe the numbers I do not believe they are an indication of the covid cases in Thailand.

There are more - how many?

I wonder if no testing (save money) is better than inadequate testing as these numbers prove what???

One wonders if today they will vaccinate 900k or so again as it is a Friday.

Only one more sleep to wait for Fridays vaccination numbers.

Can't wait.

I'm tipping below 950k, however always been a conservative guy so anything possible.

Has anyone on here from HH noticed the flocking? Pattaya Ceasers Palace near Central had 4/5 large buses parked up yesterday.

Most likely being used as a "Hospitel" rather than it being actual tourists.

For a few weeks its been around 42k tested a day with circa 14k positive circa 30% positive ratio!

Now last couple of days they are not publishing the miniscule amount tested but instead choose to publish the positive ratio which by coincidence has dropped to 18% ..... the magic of Thailand!

I also notice walkins are going down. Vaccines probably account for this but also people with some symptoms who would have previously gone to hospital for testing are doing ATK at home. If positive maybe not be reported. Maybe get a false negative and think they're ok and continue to move within the community. It was as you say @sapsonrunning at around 30% and now 2 days later has decreased almost 50%. Bit like the recovered which increased 50% almost overnight.

A well-known Chulalongkorn University virology specialist has warned that administering an mRNA vaccine to children aged 12-17 years old may cause myocarditis, which is an inflammation of the heart muscle

In a Facebook post on Friday, Dr Yong Poovorawan said everyone should receive Covid-19 vaccine, but the disease affects the elderly and people with chronic diseases rather than children.

That came from the UK as they have actually got data to support it

Big debate going on in the UK as to whether the vaccine is worse than covid for certain age groups

Just like their abysmal priority allocation in their vaccination plan, their education plan is worse leaving the kids suffering and falling behind.
