Restrictions in Phuket?

What nighttime restrictions are currently in place in Phuket?

 

Am I allowed to travel 24/7, or is this prevented by a curfew? Also, I'd be interested to know if Phuket's remaining 7/11s are open 24 hours a day.

No night curfew.

 

7/11 last time i looked are closed 21.00 to 04.00 although I think that changed 1st October to 22,00 ???  Sure some one will correct if wrong

Hmm ... so every shop, restaurant etc closes at 10PM now? Not ideal for tourists.

Good luck finding a 7/11 that is open EVER in Patong!

Okay, that's not really true, but the 3 7-11s and 2 Family Marts within walking distance of the very nice hotel I sandboxed at in the middle of Patong 10 days ago were ALL closed permanently.

 

No curfew, at least not any enforced.   I sat drinking with a just-off-duty police officer (Still in uniform) and his wife outside their bar on Bangla Rd until 4am one night.   No issues walking back to the hotel.   ????

I was in a taxi going from Patong to the airport last night at 11:30 pm and I didn't see anything open along the way other than a tiny number of 7-11/Family Mart's. Bangla looked dark when I looked down the Soi.
