Popular Post ThailandRyan
The elixir of fantasies has been imbibed by the Junta, it's leader and the cabinet. They are awash in fantasies and dream of lining their pockets more and more....very sad as they have no idea what reality really is....case in point is the opening with still restrictions and requirements that a normal person living in the country does not have to adhere to. Double bleeping standards....

Popular Post HappyExpat57
Delusional as always. When Anutin publicly announced the continued wet blanket smothering pubs and nightclubs, he killed any hope for a robust high season.

Popular Post sapson
In the case of Pattaya who really would come in November? a trickle of die hards maybe? But if they cant have the simple pleasure of sitting having a beer with a brass watching the sunset and theres going to be a plastic screen between you and the honey youd rather have in your lap........ its pretty sterile. Of course Pattaya does offer other attractions but dont see the queues of families of western tourists wanting the shopping, dining, resort and world class beaches experience and the full Covid package. Stargeezr
Wow, it is sure amazing to witness the great plans for Thailand s high tourist season and the re opening of the country on November 1st. By November 15th, when there is still only a small percentage of the hopeful tourists numbers arriving, and the hotels tell the government that there is no large booking, do you think that the government and TAT will try another tactic to get a few more tourists to please come to Thailand. I think the unelected PM and his Junta do have an idea of reality, don't forget that most of them are soldiers, not politicians, and yes, you are right about them lining their pockets, but they don't dream of it, they just do it, and that's where their thinking starts from.
