More private schools in Thailand to close due to pandemic related cashflow problems

About 70 private schools in Thailand have closed down during the past nine months, due to the impacts of COVID-19,and about 100 more are expected to follow suit, including 10 which have already notified the Office of the Private Education Promotion Commission about their decision to close.

US, Thailand Mull Crossborder Myanmar Aid Delivery Plan

The United States and Thailand are considering jointly providing humanitarian aid to Myanmar via the country’s border with Thailand, the Thai foreign ministry said Wednesday. The plan emerged from a two-day visit to Bangkok by U.S. State Department Counselor Derek Chollet earlier this week, during which he met with the Thai Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai and other senior officials and discussed the post-coup crisis in Myanmar.

Thailand Pass starts Nov 1, refunds on COE bookings allowed

Phuket marks 118 new COVID cases, six more deaths

Health Ministry to roll out booster jabs for Sinopharm recipients next month

Govt warns against SMSs seeking information for “phase 4” of Co-pay program

BANGKOK (NNT) - Criminal groups have taken advantage of the government’s recent announcement of an additional batch of stipend under the Co-pay half-price scheme to convince people to divulge their personal information. The government is asserting that it is not collecting information at the moment and urges people not to provide their information to these groups.
