Yeah, one might need to be on crack to take this guy seriously.  Was it really that difficult for you to get that ???

Why do you need to be on crack? Do you have a problem with comprehension?

It seems perfectly understandable what the authorities are trying to do.

You have your opinion concerning the competency of the Thai authorities and I have mine. If my sarcasm ( i.e. I don't do crack or any other drugs) concerning their competency and my comprehension therein runs afoul of your sensibilities, I really couldn't give a rat's rear end. I have very low opinion of your opinion of my opinions.

The General PM is a very out of touch with reality dude.

I like Rooster's description of this guy, it fits so well.

I am wondering about which one of the PM's handlers is a

non drinker, who does not want any tourism until late in 2022.

  Geezer

It's just how much you pay.

Walked yesterday to soi 4.

The 2 or 3 bars on the left site were well visited. Mostly farang and I didn't see a single one having something to eat.

They were sitting and having drinks out of bottles. Not using any mugs.

In England people would call you a "snake in the grass" or "grass" to shorten the phrase. Why come on here to tell silly little tales?

He said he had personally intervened to make sure that tourists' experiences at the airport were speeded up with more electronic means to save their valuable time. He claimed that tourists were thrilled with these measures instigated by him.

This man is positively delusional. He could not possibly be more out of touch with reality.

He has destroyed his nation's economy.

He has quite possibly destroyed the tourism industry, by demonstrating cowardice and extreme timidity.

He has destroyed nightlife in Thailand.

He has brought unhappiness to his paople. And covid is only a factor in all of this.

Spot on Spider...

Once word of his measures spreads wide and far he will eat those words.

Just a thought but I wonder how many tea totallers have been infected by the bug and how many have died. we only have the Governments view that alcohol plays a part in this pseudo pandemic and can someone tell me how you can be at risk in a beer bar but not in coffee shop or tea bar, show me the evidence.

Why would anyone waste their time trying......?

This so called PM is killing the tourist industry in Thailand with these stupid bans that do nothing. He will soon find out . He thinks there are more tourist that want to come to Thailand for Elephant rides and tour Temples. This clown needs to go along with his health minister

My opinion is not of the Thai authorities but of your post/s.

Charmless, witless, humourless and pointless.

Yet he will let 400,000 people in across the land borders soon.  I guess I just don't understand.

It is well known he is anti alcohol . He band all advertising, plus showing alcohol on ANY social media page, selfie. Instagram. Facebook, WhatsApp can cost you upto a B100,000 fine. and/or 2 months in prison.

Obviously not the ones owned / protected by his own minions, or the RTP.

-Will be a nice little Christmas  / New Year bonus for them, I imagine.

Probably extending the ban to Chinese New Year, to be announced mid January

Interesting you mention Chinese New Year. I agree with you, but something tells me that if China were to allow its people to travel internationally, we’d start to see these restrictions truly be lifted.

That sounds a bit like "Come back Thaksin, all is forgiven".

I think that they terrified about him coming back and challenging them.
