Online gambling operation busted in Phuket - three admin arrests

Daily News reported that officers under the command of the Region 8 chief Pol Lt-Gen Amphol Buarapporn raided a rental property in downtown Phuket city yesterday following complaints from the public about gambling on UFA.666.win.

 

A warrant had been issued by the Phuket court a day earlier leading to officers surrounding Top Apartment in Soi Thanomwong in Muang district on the southern Thai island province.

 

On the third floor in rooms 307, 309 and 311 they arrested three administrators of the site named as Saharat,28, Theerapong, 35, and 21 year old Watcharakorn.

 

Electronic equipment was seized. 

 

The business had a monthly turnover of between 20 and 30 million baht and had been operating for a year.

 

The admin were paid 30,000 baht monthly salaries.
