Experts are now narrowing the gap between the last shot to a booster, you'd be safe to take it in 3 months after the last shot, i got my 2 AZ in Oz 6 months ago and got my moderna booster last week and i'm planning to wait 3 months to take my 2nd moderna booster at the Samitivej hospital,,,

Most countries would recommend 6 months after 2nd shot for the booster shot.

Vaccines are not vitamins so don't take it more than necessary.

As others said, 6 months is typical between second shot and booster. Though 5 months is now recommended e.g. in my home country.

In doubt, one could get an antibody count blood test. About 1,000B, couple of hours. That would tell more precisely where one stands in terms of protection.

Had  Janssen end of June, a Moderna booster mid October. I'll try to get another Moderna in February/March, if any later I'll avoid any travel/exposure until I get it. I have prepaid two doses when they opened registration.

In my country , it is J&J 2 months , AZ 4 months , and Pfizer and Moderna 6 months .

As far as i heard from some specialist ( from another country , who do give interval at 6 months for all ) , for a booster to have optimum performance you have to wait till enough drop ( aka the lowest you can go ) to boost the vaccination . This way the effect is the strongest , and it does not mean going going up like 40% protection but it means the body remembers it better giving longer time protection after . Then came like a conversation , like in some countries faster ... blablabla... and the specialist said , sometimes it is better to give it a bit too soon to have good protection rather then give it at optimum time for best protection .

In that way i would say , for AZ , not slower then 4 months and not longer then 6 months ( seeing when they give the boosters all around for AZ ) .

Can i ask what the logistics were for that? I got my two Az in the UK before coming back in July and while I intend to visit the UK again in H1 next year i'm expecting sooner rather than later we're going to need booster proof to get on a plane. How do i get a booster in Thailand? My local hospitals said no stock currently. Also how do you get verifiable paperwork that will work for border crossings as no immigration system globally trusts any other countries paperwork.?.
