West Yorkshire Police Faces Backlash blocks white British candidates from applying
DEI used in the US is specifically illegal in Great Britain. In GB, positive action is legal, affirmative action, the US standard, is illegal. In Northern Ireland, affirmative action is legal; it was necessary in order, for instance, to increase the Catholic composition of the PSNI (formally RUC). But even Affirmative Action in NI is different from the US. Positive Action is legal in the UK. Positive Discrimination is illegal. -

Trump Wields Executive Order to Dismantle State Climate Laws
Numbers can be manipulated. The VAST majority of Americans recognized that and that is why the embarrassing Biden and Harris (who said she would do nothing different) were resoundingly rejected. They rejected the embarrassing open borders and willful importing of violent gangs including murders, rapests, and terrorists. The American voters strongly rejected the assanine DEI policies. Being a lefty, I'm guessing you are real proud to have men in women sports beating up on women. There was so much wrong with Biden's DEI that I'm not going to waste any more time on it, just that DEI took months to force on Corporations and when Trump killed it, the time for corporations to delete DEI could be measured in minutes - that speaks volumes. The only good thing about Biden is that he dethroned Jimmy Carter (God bless him & may he rest in peace) as the worst and also (by far) the most embarrassing POTUS in the history of the United States of America and I don't give at rat's a*s if you believe that or not. -

Because its free to read, and isn't full of appalling popup ads like the Sun/Mirror/Express/Mail. For the Telegraph, there is an incredibly simple hack in modifying the URL to read articles for free which I ain't sharing. -

US Revokes 300 Student Visas in Crackdown on Campus Protests
Very, very good news! Made my year so far. One of the really bad guys, a vicious antisemite and Hamas supporter, looks likely to be deported from the U.S. It's a smidgeon of justice for all the pain he and his cohorts heaped on the Jewish students at Columbia U. It has nothing to do with free speech. Anti-Israel Columbia protester Mahmoud Khalil can be deported, judge rules, but it won’t happen immediately Mahmoud Khalil can be deported over his involvement in anti-Israel demonstrations at Columbia University, an immigration judge ruled Friday in the closely watched case. ... But Khalil won’t be deported immediately — his lawyers will get the chance to fight the proceedings before a final determination is made. https://nypost.com/2025/04/11/us-news/columbia-protester-mahmoud-khalil-can-be-deported-judge-rules-but-it-wont-happen-immediately/ -

British Fugitive Arrested in Phuket After Violent Brawl in Bangkok
Picture courtesy of Phuket and Andaman News - Facebook A British man, wanted for a violent altercation in Bangkok, has been apprehended in Phuket. The Phuket Immigration Bureau was alerted by Thong Lor police after Mr James, a 26-year-old British national, seriously injured a South Korean man during a brawl. The altercation left the victim requiring intensive care for over a month. After the incident, Mr James fled to Phuket, successfully evading capture initially. In response, the Bangkok South Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant on 19th February, charging him with causing grievous bodily harm. The diligent efforts of the Phuket Immigration team, led by Police Colonel Kriengkrai Ariyayong, resulted in the tracking and detention of Mr James. Upon arrest, he confessed to the assault, admitting he had fled to Phuket out of fear of legal repercussions. Authorities in Phuket are keen to reassure the public of their dedication to tackling crimes committed by foreign nationals. They are committed to ensuring the safety and security of both residents and tourists, reinforcing the province’s reputation as a safe and welcoming destination.
