The immune response of people infected with omicron appears to increase protection against delta more than fourfold, according to a study from South Africa. "If Omicron does prove to be less pathogenic, then this may show that the course of the pandemic has shifted—Omicron will take over, at least for now, and we may have less disruption of our lives," he said. https://www.newsweek.com/omicron-variant-could-boost-immunity-against-delta-eventually-displace-it-study-1663618 Edited December 31, 2021 by bluehippie
Boomer6969
Nowhere it says that optimal protection against Delta is achieved once you die from Omicron. Jeez!... An epidemiologic study on 13 patients! Science is going down the drain. Edited December 31, 2021 by Boomer6969

Just as we should not expect 13 patients to be a representative sample of all people, we should not judge all of science by one shoddy study. Science has done a first rate job in the fight against COVID.
