MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health on Wednesday called on government officials to act as role models for the public by getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

 

“We just want to urge all government officials, let us try to be models so people will follow,” Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said in an interview with ABS-CBN News Channel.

 

“Let us show confidence in our vaccines. Let us show that vaccines are weapons to protect the population,” she added.
