A 38-year-old man has sustained serious injuries after falling through an auditorium roof at a school in the Sri Racha district.

Emergency responders were notified of the incident at a school in the Bang Phra sub-distract yesterday (February 22nd.)

The first response teams arrived at the auditorium inside the school to find the injured man, Mr. Kritsana Chaikaew, 38. He had suffered a serious skull fracture and was bleeding heavily but cognizant and calm. He was rushed to a local hospital, where emergency responders were set to bring him into emergency surgery.

Ah...  they must not have been displaying those ‘Safety First’ signs....

But seriously though, is common sense and basic safety awareness so absent here, or is the same elsewhere but accountability forces employers into active responsibility and enforcement ?...  is that the difference, when workers cut corners the owners are not responsible so its not in their interest to enforce safety regulations.

These guys ‘should’ have been tied off of course...

Very lucky man to still be alive falling from that height and hitting his head, thousands of people fall less than 1 m during fights each year and die because they hit their head on the floor

Crawling boards are an optional extra, along with the harness.

Ah gravity, that often misunderstood and ignored concept.  Never underestimate the painful consequences of g = GM/r
