The longer it goes on the more chance Ukraine has of losing Odessa.

Is that what they really want, all goods to go through the EU.

What to do when Russia is bombing the silos? Build new ones under the protection of NATO ????

Biden: U.S. to build silos on Poland border to export Ukrainian grain

President Joe Biden said Tuesday that the U.S. will build temporary silos on Poland’s border with Ukraine to facilitate the export of grain out of the war-torn nation and address surging food prices amid Russia’s invasion.

Sounds like a cart before the horse situation.

A truckload of grain is a very low value target. Even if Russia had abundant precision missiles, it wouldn't make much sense to target them.

It would be a rail network carrying the bulk, not cars as in cars in coolcarers article.

Again, what is the value of a load of grain in railcar compared to other cargo that trains would be transporting.  How would that change Russia's current targeting of the Ukrainian rail system?

Sounds like another thing to target before it leaves Ukraine.

Sure, I bet Russia is itching to be exposed with targeting grain trains, not enough the silos but hey, lets show the world the silos were not a mistake because we'll even target any trains moving it with inaccurate missiles which is all they have left.

How can you possibly conceive that as putting the cart before the horse? There is already evidence of Russia deliberately blowing up grain silos as part of their strategy for using food shortages as a weapon.

There will not be enough storage for the new crop unless more are built. Or would you rather the grain rots, millions of tons.

Planning is not your thing obviously

What Biden is talking about is a transfer depot.

It doesn't solve the problem of where to put it at harvest time.

“US and Western officials have been exploring efforts to build temporary silos in Ukraine and other nations as a means to quickly scale up storage capacity in Ukraine”

If you read article it is multi purpose

Not to mention the grain Russia is stealing and shipping back home, and to Syria.

listening to many sources France 24, Aljazera, LBC radio UK and BBC world news on one of em it was reported a Russian General said they want to go west in the South of Ukraine and join up with "Transist" something or other next to Moldova.

That would land lock Ukraine.

What's truly amazing about Kwasaki's claims is that these alleged reports never seem to get published on the news sources' websites. Odd, no?

I guess he must have his own publishing company    555

UK tipped to 'go in and kick Putin out’ of Ukraine

THE UK has been tipped to "go in and kick Putin out" of Ukraine as Russia threatens to escalate the security risk in the region, Express.co.uk can reveal.
The notion was discussed by defence expert Nicholas Drummond, who stated action may now be needed to be taken in order to end the war. So far, multiple nations have both condemned the Russian-led invasion of Ukraine and supplied Kyiv with much-needed weapons to defend themselves. Express

And Russia has shown itself to be a brutal and ruthless invader that commits countless warcrimes. And you want Ukraine to give ground to that monster?

If only…

Emotion is a mood to put to one side in war it clouds judgment.

Disregarding your completely irrelevant response to the facts in the post you replied to, without emotions, wars would be decided by the push of red buttons.

Well over a 100 days now Ukraine has to give ground as I said from the start of this thread its an attack that Ukraine cannot stop and the US, UK and EU have just shown themselves to be bags of wind.

Conrade out.

BS.  Do you think this is how Russia wanted the war to be fought?

If the US, UK, and EU were bags of wind there wouldn't be so much hysterical denunciation of the weapons supplied from Russia and Russia supporters.

From just 9 hours ago:

Defense Secretary Austin and Gen. Milley hold news briefing after Ukraine meeting

This is the full press briefing, 35 mins but covers most items with up to date assessments including the delivery of military aid in responses to the Ukraine requests at a meeting in Brussels with some 50 countries backing Ukraine.

For those who lack emotions in this war, bear a thought for the Ukrainians and how General Milley put it.

@25.53 General Milley: "For Ukraine, this is an existential threat, they're fighting for the very life of their country, your ability to endure suffering, your ability to endure casualties is directly proportional to the object to be obtained, if the object to be obtained is the survival of your country then you're going to sustain it. As long as they have the means to fight then I think they will continue to fight."

Austin: "We can't afford to let up and we can't lose steam. The stakes are too high. Ukraine is facing a pivotal moment on the battlefield," "We must intensify our shared commitment to Ukraine's self defence, and we must push ourselves even harder to ensure that Ukraine can defend itself, its citizens and its territory."

If anyone thinks the west or Ukraine is lacking the will or their objectives have changed then watch the vid.

Meanwhile Putin's alter ego "Peter the Great" will be giving his annual speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on the 17th June. Its rumored his new world order will again be the rhetoric.

That's pretty obvious and what happens in every war but nothing to do with Russian helicopters over Ukrainian capital and in the west of Ukraine and how the war is progressing.

Going on about war crimes, personal hatred of another country or person just hi-jack's the thread.
