Wise email asking me to update address?…
I originally set up my account while living in Denmark. When I moved to Thailand I changed the address to my Thai address. I don't recall having any issues doing that. -

Nostalgia for Prayut Grows as "We Miss Loong Tu" Goes Viral
Check how much prices have increased in the UK! I blame it partly on all the money that was spent paying people to stay at home during Covid (Furloughed) The money had to come from somewhere - now it's payback time! -

Cash withdrawals from Thai accounts in Thailand is limited by the daily withdrawal amount, set by the customer, not the number of daily withdrawals. -

Nostalgia for Prayut Grows as "We Miss Loong Tu" Goes Viral
Prices did not shoot up under Prayuth, except during the beginning of the lockdown, when I saw people going into places like Foodland and panic buying all the chicken, beef, and pork. Fact is, Prayuth regulated and subsidized something like electricity that benefitted especially the poor and was even "sustainable" with the sub 300 kwh usage discount. Then there was the half and half program, about which there was a post today in an unfortunately neglected topic https://www.thaipbsworld.com/half-half-resurfaces-in-yet-another-month-when-no-one-can-blink/ It was superior to the digital wallet in just about every category, including but especially its use wherever participants lived and in the requirement that people contribute their own fair share of money before getting benefits. It's something Prayuth did well during covid. In fact, his record during covid continues to be unjustly smeared. Thailand was better off than most--far better off. Fewer people died, and people had more measurable freedom to move around than in places such as the US. I've already listed above additional areas in which he was not only better than the current government but in practical terms successful. Prayuth was a status quo politician. That was what was needed in Thailand and may still be needed, instead of radical chaos. -

Soi Buakhao planned to be changed to one way
Not necessarily! Just because the street is one way, doesn't stop 2 trucks parking opposite each other. The only difference would be that they'd both be facing the same direction........being Thailand even that isn't guaranteed! 😲 -

NHRC calls for investigation into Thaksin's "VVIP" treatment
They don't expect or worry if the man in the street believes it , when they know they won't do anything about it. -

ATM withdrawl limits?
I do a counter withdrawal every month at Krungsri. Most Krungsri branches allow this without a fee. You will still have to pay the fee of your card issuer. I use a credit card and have no problem withdrawing 50,000 baht a time.
