Blue line at bottom of Web Pages?

Featured Replies

Windows 10 with Edge.

Recently been getting this blue line flashing up whenever I hover over a section of Webpage.

Not had this happen before and it's quite irritating.

Any idea how to get rid of it? Untitled-01.jpg.43a21f94c51efecb1bf784674c1a9ef1.jpg

Cheers

 It's an important feature (for many).

Checking the full URL to get a better idea if its legit/plausible.

Mine is just black/white (Firefox) and I never thought about how to get rid of. Not new to me.

I think we all have our own ideas about 'important features"  :whistling:

Mine also used to be B/W and hardly noticeable but now with the blue fill its really noticeable and very irritating  :annoyed:

I use Chrome and the colour fill of the box changes with the colour scheme of the browser.  Maybe get rid of that blue?

Maybe you got a discount on the BTS Blue Line.

I am using Edge, and no blue box on mine by default.

To get rid off it in Firefox (I wouldn't recommend as you say it shows the FULL url of the link)

Same here before, possibly came with the latest update

Wish they would stop offering their "enhancements" by default

Thanks, but sure no intention to remove.

All searches about Chrome or EDGE led to dead ends (can not?).

Yes, developing enhancements and not implementing them should be standard… ????

Or perhaps I am not hovering in the right way...

It should be when they're not really enhancements as appears to be the case here.

Hovering correctly is a highly skilled art, I have perfected it over many years. Shame the only benefit is an irritating blue status bar

Edge is also based on Chrome and I have it, so yes  you should feel hard done by :annoyed:
