The Government who even after Countries like America ???????? Donated Millions of Covid-19 Vaccinations had  huge distribution problems. I’M BAFFLED ????

I am not sure if the remaining 1mln pfizer donated from the USA finally ever arrived.

They were part of the total 2.5mln.

Somehow tha consulate in washington was not keen on that vials, not supplying correct paperwork to clear export to thailand

WHO making a clown of themselves. Maybe they should send someone to study the country a bit before making embarrassing statements like this. 

 

They could have emphasized the strength of Thai democracy in the statement as well to make it even more impactful!

Yes ! It was a Cluster <deleted> for many Months , mainly caused through a lack of Vaccines, which should have been procured and administered by Anutins Dept.

Expect more photo's of Anutin. He's the next one. He's been to Switzerland before. Did you see the old photo of him previously in Switzerland (in the background) with XYZ on a shopping trip? The election is looming large. Of course I could be wildly wrong.

Setting the bar very low. How many countries were charging peopl (including foreigners) for vaccinations? In much of the West they were chasing people to get their free vaccinations and making them easily available- even paying people in some instances! Here it was late ,chaotic and you had to chase around blitzing many sources to try to find one . I too got vaccinated eventually by being persistent and determined even driving hundreds of kilometres to get what we’re donated Pfizer vaccines from USA . 
Your implied praise is very much misplaced.

and your point is ???? did you know vaccines were free all around the world and Thailand received free vaccines from foreign countries

Silly phrase . By definition the dead cannot write the other side of the story! Most survived anyway,so you’re setting the bar very low for congratulations. Getting vaccinated here was late,chaotic and required much application and effort,many received the inferior Sinocrap version too. I was lucky to get DONATED from USA Pfizer - so little to do with Thailand being proactive, and that’s what’s rightly being criticised.

yes, thailand did better with 113 excess deaths per 100k. The UK is 225, the USA is 347.

But is still doesn't explain why WHO decided to make thailand as an example, if there are some 36 countries, which are below in numbers in excess deaths.

Malaysia has only 8, singapore 21. Both those countries are close to thailand in many ways (even if malaysians are muslims and congregate to obligatory religious prayers and rituals, while budhists don't have to and their greet themselves by bowing, "wai").

 

Those deaths are the true figures how much covid strained the health service. So all the other illnesses, treatments were not cared for, as they were previously. 

Different hospital wards (pulmonary, infection and oriental diseases etc) were converted exclusively into covid wards.

Many operations were cancelled and continually postponed.

Screening programs, including for serious and deadly illness, like cancer, were suspended or scaled down. For many years there would be high statistics for cancer and others.

 

The very same dr Anutin wanted to punish medics who cought covid during the first wave, blaming them for making mistakes, not following infection prevention protocols

Thailand was included in the group "because we offer a smile first, and we are the most ready", says Anutin.

4 Relatives of my girlfriend and 2 friends would beg to differ. But they didn't get vaccines fast enough, so they can't, because they're dead.

Thailand has been "so good, and efficient" !!!, with Covid that other countries had to give free Covid vaccines and some (like French) decided to get their own citizens and their families vaccinated through their embassies
