Popular Post gargamon
https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/975941 Storks everywhere, rejoice. A new study shows that the ability to stand on one leg for at least 10 seconds is strongly linked to the risk of death over the next 7 years. According to the findings, people in middle age and older who couldn't perform the 10-second standing test were nearly four times as likely to die of any cause ― heart attacks, strokes, cancer, and more ― in the coming years than those who could, well, stand the test of time. "As a physician who has worked with cardiac patients for over four decades, I was very impressed in finding out that, for those between 51 and 75 years of age, it is riskier for survival to not complete the 10-second one-leg standing test than to have been diagnosed as having coronary artery disease or in being hypertensive" or having abnormal cholesterol, Araújo told Medscape Medical News. 1

Boomer6969
Sounds like gutter press science "A new study shows ". Please quote sources explicitly, even on Aseannow this wouldn't be allowed. I had doctors asking me to stand on one leg, but with my eyes closed. I think it had something to do with inner ear. I Reckon that almost anyone can stand on one leg for ten seconds, so if not one has a serious problem. But we knew that, didn't we.

Interesting test though Funny enough, I just made the test before I read your comment. I am right handed but for whatever reason my unconsciousness made me stay on my left foot. After I read your comment I also tried the other foot and same result: I will live longer than 7 years more.

I'm wondering how many people they have killed with that kind of BS. Hyperinsulinemia is far more likely to occur with high carb diets. I suggest you check Dr. Ken Berry on YouTube. IMO you are laying the foundations for longer term liver harm with +5 bananas a day, Fructose does not metabolize in the body like glucose, and it does not show up in fasting blood sugar and HbA1C testing.

Popular Post spidermike007
One of my methods that I use to maintain peace of mind these days, is to not dwell on things I have no control over. I eat well, exercise, and take supplements. If I die, I die. Some will miss me. Will I miss my life? What will my level of awareness be after death? I have a 60 year old friend who went out for a motorbike ride back in the US last week, and never made it home. He somehow lost control of the bike, and crashed into a tree, leaving behind a younger wife and a 7 year old. It happens all the time. Not something I stress over. There is one thing that is sure in this life. If it is your time, the grip reaper will find you, no matter where you are, and what you are doing.
