Trump Erupts in Incoherent Rants After New Court Brief Details How He ‘Resorted to Crimes’
yeah, because he didn't own golf courses, host tops prize boxing matches throughout the 80's, have his name on a tower, own multiple properties..... just a unknown poor billionaire until the apprentice started! -

Thailand's Cashless Leap: Ahead of the Asean Pack by 2028
And your bitcoin alternative offers no guarantees, no oversight, and no consumer protection. There is a reason why it is favoured by criminal organizations. One is also at the mercy of the financial institutions if one relies on cash. The banks are holding our money and they are the entities which supply the ATMS. Fortunately, your opinion is only popular with a minority of the age 65+ demographic, and Father Time will ensure that the opinion will be addressed appropriately. 😁 I once resisted using a debit card and then credit cards, but then I realized how much easier it was to maintain electronic records and to manage transactions electronically. The only place where I still have to make cash transactions for small transactions is in Thailand. Fortunately, I can do online invoice payments, and pay with debit or credit cards at Lotus, Tops, Villa, upper end and international restaurants restaurants and at international retailers. Even my hired cars to the airport rely on credit card payment. I don't want to walk round with 10-30,000 baht. Ok, so the bank takes a percentage on the credit card transaction, They are being paid for the services rendered to the merchant. The credit and debt cards reduce the exposure to holdup and to cash shortfalls. They reduce the need for manual book keeping and trips to make deposits at the bank. When I go to the ATM I have to pay 200 baht each time. My use of a CC has the cost baked into the retail cost of goods, whether I use the card or not. -

Bangkok Streets to Undergo Significant Improvements
Again? Maybe the last "improvements" had only Thai standard and did not last longer than 2 years ... but I guess a few bank accounts will see some significant improvement soon. 🤦🏼♂️ -

Bangkok Streets to Undergo Significant Improvements
Right! Also, there is no easy task to fix it all. On one side, you have the flooding every year, that moves everything around. On the other side, there are corruption and money in pockets, that together with ignorance and bad knowledge result in a sub-standard work. -

Anutin Blessed for PM Role at Newin's Birthday Ceremony
I'd rather see anyone in the PM seat other than another Thaksin dynasty proxy. Thaksin daughter and sister where just pretty faced string puppets with Thaksin pulling those strings. "I need to come back to live out my life surround by my grandchildren." 🐂💩 You needed to come back to become actively involved in managing Thailand through political proxies for your own benefit. -

Trump Urges Israel to Strike Iran’s Nuclear Facilities
i don't know enough or care about Israel to comment, i do know they are not liked in many countries, and if Netanyahu was the leader of another country than Israel he's have been taken out or done for war crimes by now, but he has the backing of Murica so is allowed to continue.- 1

V P Debate
"Haitian immigrants in Springfield OH eat dogs and cats!" Is that enough decency for you? Moderators have nothing to do with how the candidates present themselves. They do not require debaters put on party conehats, nor ask loony questions such as to provoke the above statement. As to how US citizens would like their leader to behave on the world stage, most simply do not want an encore of the following laugh-fest: -

Hua Hin Immigration Office - Retirement visa one year extension: Change after October 2023?
I took for granted he already knew that, since extending last year. Not if you get an official receipt for the payment, which HH Imm does issue. Same with transfer of visa to new PP. -

Thai beauty queen tricked into paying 800,000 baht for victory
You are actually totally right, when you can´t find anything regarding out of State official affairs regarding bribery, That is because it does not exist. Neither in the Penal Code B.E. 2499 nor in the Organic Act on Anti-Corruption B.E. 2561. The sections that takes up the matter are 128, 144 and 167. They are only regulating briberies regarding State officials, or a person working for an authority spreading knowledge of the authority that was not intended to be public knowledge. To sum it up. The provisions of the Organic Act are again mainly applicable to the public sector, and there is no prohibition or restriction under the Organic Act on the acceptance of any offering in relation to bribery or corruption applicable to the private sector. While the law is applicable only towards the public sector, many private sector entities have also adopted this measure as an internal anti-bribery policy. However, such adoption is not mandatory. -
