Crime Two Teenagers Arrested for Murder Following Workplace Dispute
Picture courtesy of CIB Officers from The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), in coordination with the Highway Police Division, have arrested two teenage suspects for the premeditated murder of a colleague following a dispute at their workplace. The suspects, identified only as Mr. Teeranan and Mr. Phisan, were apprehended in front of Mueang Buriram Police Station. They face multiple serious charges including murder, unlawful discharge of a firearm in a public area and carrying a weapon without a permit or justified cause. According to police reports, the incident stemmed from a heated argument between the suspects and the victim at their place of employment in Samut Prakan province. The parties had agreed to meet and resolve the dispute, but when the talks failed, the suspects allegedly shot the victim, resulting in fatal injuries. Following the shooting, the pair fled on a motorcycle to Buriram province, their hometown. Police in Buriram, working alongside provincial investigators, managed to track and arrest the suspects within 24 hours of the crime. Officers presented official police identification and an arrest warrant to the suspects, informed them of their legal rights and charges, and transported them to the investigative unit for formal documentation. The suspects have since been transferred to the Samut Prakan Provincial Court for legal proceedings. The swift operation was carried out under the direction of Pol. Lt. Gen. Jiraphop Phuridej, Commissioner of the CIB; Pol. Maj. Gen. Khongkrit Lertsittikul, Commander of the Highway Police Division; and Pol. Col. Surasak Sitthiyai, Superintendent of Subdivision 6.
