Spell check

Featured Replies

Why in Bangkok Post's Comments section is the spell check not working now? The miss pelt word is underlined but right clicking on it does not bring up spell check? Is it them or me?

The spell check is provided by your browser, not the website.

My guess is that the website in question is capturing the right click and preventing the menu from showing up, possibly because they want to try and prevent (for whatever reason!) people copy and pasting something

Yes. Simply open the site, mark some text and try a right click.

It's blocked. So a spell check can't work the usual way.

Bet there are cracks for that? But I never researched.

If I missspell a word in my reply, it gets underlined in red.

The best I have found is LT spell and grammar check, works on everything for me using Chrome.....????

So did I, but at my age, I make many mistakes with my keyboard. LT spell and grammar check saves some embarrassing moments, highly recommended....????
