Dealing with constipation
Be careful with supplements (see below), though OD'ing on M is rare. I take 400mg capsule of Citrate version, and was actually hoping for some laxative effect. Didn't happen, and 400mg is the RDA, though I find RDA's are usually very low, based on old research, and consider them the minimum the body needs. M did improve my sleep greatly, and even helps me get 6-8 hrs of sound sleep without the need to P, 2X during the night before I started taking. Obviously I was a bit deficient of M, as a very noticeable difference after taking. I don't consistently eat a whole lot of foods rich in M, so a supplement definitely helps. I do control, alleviate constipation issues with more ruffage & fiber in the diet. Seems to be an issue as we age. Drink more water helps also, though not a fan of P'ing 10-20X a day. But flushing out the kidneys is never a bad thing 🙄 Rare, but too much M can be an issue, and same advisory on many sites ... ... "However, supplements often come in much higher doses than what you’d get from foods, so the risk of magnesium overdose (or hypermagnesemia) is much higher. At best, magnesium overdose can cause diarrhea and abdominal cramps, but at worst it could lead to difficulty breathing, irregular heartbeat, and death. Severe magnesium toxicity isn’t all that common, but symptoms like diarrhea are more common if you’re taking a high dose supplement." ... source: https://www.health.com/too-much-magnesium-8600543 -

Will you be getting boosted now that Covid is back in the headlines in Thailand?
Thread was hijacked as soon as the first reply. Is there not a single reference to any news articles in this thread beyond mine? I found Thailand reports declining Covid-19 Cases; Public urged to remain vigilant Hardly scare-mongering. I asked some AI to "elaborate" and I got this (click the link, wait, then click "Elaborate" and wait a few more seconds): https://search.brave.com/search?q=thailand+covid+cases+2025&source=desktop&summary=1&conversation=fecef0169dd80f86287f11 -

When was the last time that you spoke with a foreigner?
I hook up with about half-a-dozen members from the local farang geriatric and Isaan coffin-dodgers association maybe twice a week. Otherwise, living the dream at home here with about half-a-dozen shouty and pished up in-laws (outlaws) and their relatives and hangers-on would be simply too unbearable.
