Start with their own then. I nearly got taken out, along with 2 students, by a traffic cop on his PCX hammering through as we crossed the road ON A CLEARLY MARKED PEDESTRIAN CROSSING. Had he been heading to an incident he might have had an excuse if he had blues and twos on. What he actually did was pull in at a raodside food stall 150m down the road and get his lunch.

if you're not first you're last,. ????

Do they really need to wait for an 'injury report' on the dead guy run over by a two tonne truck?

The public can rest assured that even though the suspect involved is a serving RTP officer he will be dealt with under the full force of the law,

That's the issue right there.

The deputy spokesman for the metropolitan police has assured the public that an allegedly drunk cop who caused a serious traffic accident in northern Bangkok will be dealt with just like any ordinary member of the public.

Or a month in an inactive post then return with full honours?

Like the other useless one in Patts

Oh, so finally, a confirmation that the saying "I am with the government, and I am here to help you" was also true...

Whilst of course the billionaire son who murdered one of their own has still not paid for his crime.

Except with envelopes to escape justice.

I know this won't go over very well here, and although I do agree with many of the member comments to some degree, however, over my many years here I have met many good cops. They aren't all bad or on the take. Many are, I know, but they do do some things correctly and fairly. That's all I got to say! Let the flack fly!!
