Renewal Of Expired Driving License......................................

Featured Replies

My Motorcycle license expired August 2021.  I am returning in 2 months, December 2022.

Is there any chance I can just pay, or do I have to start allover with the written, eye, and driving test?

I think you're back to the begining.

Under a year, you can renew.

Over a year, you must take the written examination.  No driving test required.

You will need a residence certificate.

This is for Bangkok Chatuchak.  YMMV.

They give you a motorscooter for your test.  you have to get into 2nd gear within 50 feet on a board about 10" wide.  luckily the board is only 2' off the ground.

I live in BKK but I vacation in Phuket 5x a year and rent a bike.
