I am 57 now and I get told I look like I am 45 by folks.  Many ask me what I do for work and when I tell them I am retired, they look shocked and say how can you have retired already, you look to be about 45.  When I tell them my age they think I am lying.  It is called good genetics, as I have no wrinkles on my face or forehead.

Me too. People that don't know me are always asking me what I do for work and surprised when I say long retired.

What if it really doesn't matter much what you do and nobody cares what you think?

He is doing it for himself, not for anybody else.

So your mythical 'What If' does not apply.

I’m 75 and when I tell people they say, “Good grief. I’d never have believed that. I would have said you were about 80!”.

That question is usually about money.

They are not surprised, they are disappointed because there is no gauge to determine your income. It could be any amount.

If it's a job that pays well, everyone's interested. If not, they usually don't want to discuss it.

It's not legal where I live.

If it was I'd be permanently stoned.

And here I thought we were talking about Samui/Phangan, not about where you live,
