Popular Post TheFishman1 Posted October 26, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 26, 2022 A very sad situation in football star goalie kills a lady jogging and injured another so what do you think the odds so be of a long sentence here in Thailand I have a very good idea what will finally happen and most people read the article probably already know what will happen in court TIT 8 4

Popular Post jaiyen Posted October 26, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 26, 2022 So what if he is a goalie for a football team. That doesnt make him special. He was drunk and killed an innocent person. Throw the book at him. 18 2 5 3

Popular Post Andre0720 Posted October 27, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2022 I simply cannot hear the word 'sorry' any more. The word sorry should be accompanied with an equivalent voice tone and body language, showing that one is genuinely sad, and repentant for an action that caused pain or damage to someone. Here, I see a smile, a quirk, when this word is used, not genuine, and particularly when someone says it twice, like 'Oh sorry sorry', with no sign of being repentant, none. So all I see is are lies. A 'Wai', should be used to show respect towards other people, but I see only a mechanical gesture, before again doing something totally selfish, and devoid consideration toward others. Or in this instance, the 'wai' is used to beg for others to find a person not responsible (again), for his actions. The words used carry only a 7% significance of a message that one is trying to convey, the tone 38%, and the body language, 55%. A 'Wai' is used with no words, so no intonation to judge its truthfulness, and the body language is a mechanical gesture forced upon children to show their irrelevance compared to adults, or people of authority. 1 3 3

I was hit by a drunk driver in Australia in 1972, and I have been in debilitating pain since that night... 50 years of suffering, not having much enjoyment in life, not being able to do much physical activity at all, just because a man thought that he was a hero for being able to drive home drunk...!!! ???? 5 2 1
Popular Post happy me Posted October 27, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2022 It seems financial crimes get longer prison time than manslaughter etc.. school principal ripping off the school lunch money gets 199years.. this guy will probably get very low or zero prison time, especially if he has enough money to pay the family! 6 4

Yep, if they make the choice to drive while drunk, then they chose ALL of the possible consequences associated with driving while drunk, so killing someone while deliberately choosing to drive while drunk is effectively murder...!!! 2 1
thailand49 Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 Who is everyone kidding! Compensation, stop drinking for life!???? 1
Xonax Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 I have lost count of, how many times I have promised myself to quit drinking. 1
AlQaholic Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 Famous Goalkeeper??? I've never heard of him. But then I thoroughly don't like football at all on the club level.
riverhigh Posted October 27, 2022 Posted October 27, 2022 Here we go again, the "sorry" and "wai" used by hi-so / celebrity Thais to get out of jail. A real confidence booster for the Thai justice system. 1

Popular Post hansombeast Posted October 27, 2022 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2022 I watched the footage on the tv about this,, he was also very aggressive and obviously didn't appreciate being told what to do by the bib. He should be banned and jailed end of story 4 2

Unfortunately it doesn't work like that. The lady was 62 so here it will be looked at how long she had left to live, was her family dependent upon on her, how wealth was she, how wealthy are the family and how wealthy is the footballer??????? they can charge him with DUI, but the family can take compensation for her death. In Thailand justice usually means, how much money can we get out of this. 2 1
