In the civilized European countries, these vicious beasts are banned and for very good reason.

They are only banned in the UK that’s it!

I could offer it a new home..............6ft under my lawn. I know it's not the dog's fault it was born the breed it was, but better to be safe than sorry.

You have never owned a pitbull and never will,so why are you even commenting on a subject on which you have absolutely zero knowledge it just beggars all belief?

You say that you've owned one (which you loved so much that you gave it up) but now seem to be vouching for the whole species.

How unusual a dangerous dog story in Thailand.

Of someone being mauled by these cute lovely things.

Kill them all now.

Yes, that's it.

People should not be allowed to air their views on a public forum, especially if you do not agree with their views.

How dare he.

You’ve never owned one so have no experience to draw on to comment, not really rocket science is it?

So why don't you push the report button then.

That's what you usually do, isn't it?

It's like you acting as a moderator when you aren't.

[sarcasm mode="extreme"] Mods, are you able to make this thread accept replies from dog owners only? [/sarcasm]

Will that excite you and make your day then?

Where did I state that I have never owned one?

Please show me or otherwise it's just conjecture.

Would you comment on flying a plane with no pilot experience or flying hours, probably not this is no different?

It’s a statement of fact.

Why, because you said so?

Where is your proof?

"You've never owned a gun, why are you saying that children shouldn't be allowed to have one?"

"You aren't an expert of venomous snakes, where do you get off saying that people shouldn't sleep with one in their bed?"

"You've never even driven a car, how can you possibly believe that anyone could ever be harmed while driving one."

Do I need to say more?

Yes, I might, I have watched a lot of MenTour Pilot videos over the years. You are trying to impose your own censorship  here. Even your comment 'probably not' is you answering for someone else, and actually getting it wrong.

Many make decisions based on what they hear or read, not needing to have a limb torn off to decide not to keep one of these dogs.

Good job that guns, snakes and cars are banned now isn’t it?

Oh that’s right THEY ARE NOT!

Wrong again...yes I do have all of my limbs. Stop answering for people!

The people in the original post have all their limbs now why is that?

the family has two male Pit Bulls: Pepo, 2, and Jumbo, 7 months.

Pepo was the one responsible for the attack.

Pepo showed Jumbo how to take care of business

Pepo heard the raised voices and probably thought there was trouble and ran in and started attacking Saranthip.

The dog took the role of pack leader because the humans had no clue how to fill that role...

I guess I do have to say more. ????

The point is, you don't need to have an intimate knowledge of something to know how dangerous it is.

Pit bulls are famously one of the most dangerous dog breeds, which have been banned in 30 countries, including the UK, France, Australia and New Zealand.

Yeah heard it all before they are all soft and would not hurt a fly, until their genetic make up snaps in one day and they attack at random. It's not about the right training either, you cannot change thier genes, they are aggressive killers, if this monster did not attack anyone it was luck rather than training. They are not top of the dog attackers and killers list by accident.

send it to heaven the best option before more accidents happen

It needs putting down. It can never be trusted to be around people.
