I could take that statement and replace "a flat earth theory" by "the heliocentric model". It's a pretty valid assessment, there's no denying that.
Beliefs are extremely hard to sway. Though I have one distinct advantage over you, IMO, in that I have already demonstrated that I can revise my beliefs, as I spent the first 40 years of my life believing the Earth was round.
The heliocentric model is rife with flaws, but to acknowledge it, you would need to first acknowledge the possibility that you could be wrong. I really think this is the core issue..
Humble pie is coming when Zelensky has to crawl back to the W H and beg Trump to keep sending the weapons, after realising the Euros are only able to talk talk but not walk walk.
Had Hitler left the generals to get on with it, it's likely they would have won in Russia and D Day would not have succeeded, but he kept interfering and ultimately lost the war for Germany. Eg he would not let the army retreat from Russia while it could, which meant it was lost.
