Popular Post jaiyenyen
You'll need to pay money to the police for them to do anything. Try to forget the 4000B and move on. You're not alone. 3

NextG
It’s not so much about the ever changing amount, somewhere between 3000 and 5000 according to the OP, but to put a stop to the possible scam in the first place. If no one complains they can do it again and again. File a report. Here too https://www.ocpb.go.th/ewtadmin/ewt/ocpb_en/ewt_news.php?nid=30 if appropriate. 1

martin81
Was it the phone scam where they tell they are police or something? Common in Thailand and other countries and some people are stupid enough to transfer their money to an account belonging to a voice in their phone. Please report in the hope that the scammers will go to jail. Edited December 23, 2022 by martin81

Henryford
I had 4000 baht stolen from my shorts on a baht bus. Wrote it off to experience. Not worth the time and effort going to the Police for that sort of amount.
Popular Post Lantern
Tip for not getting your wallet stolen. Put the wallet in the front pocket of your shorts then twist the pocket through 180 deg.
