That is a VERY cool looking gun. I wonder who in the RTP will get it, er, I mean, what will happen to it after he goes to jail.

Reminded me of Mr. Cage's ones

wow ..... not a word of praise for the Pattaya police for doing their job and taking what obviously is a threat off the streets .... yes I admit they make the Keystone cops look like pro's most of the time but  occasionally they do step up to the mark . Nicely done Pattaya RTP.... now lets make sure this non quality  tourist gets processed and sent home with a never to come back mark against him......

Suspicious backpack? Bullsh** !!!   It was probably because the police were tipped off he was flashing a gun around trying to look big.

Most crimes are only solved because of police tip offs, not because of efficient policework

It would be tempting, if one was carrying a gun and drugs, to make more of an effort to blend in and look like a plain vanilla tourist.  Everything about this guy shouts out ne’er-do-well.

People have no problem labelling everybody with tattoos as criminals, which is ridiculous. Why does this happen?

There have been a lot of associations with criminal and criminal gangs  who were marked or liked to adorn themselves with tattoos throughout history....from the criminals being transported from Britain to Australia, the Yakuza in Japan, Hell's Angels and of course  American gangs.

I am surprised you find it ridiculous.....it's not all about drunken sailors doing a jig.

No praise for actually doing their job? Well I'll just say good on them - and now get on the trail of the flashy piece of weaponry, whilst on the scent - not the everyday piece flashed on traffic there is it.

Hardly, in fact a ridiculous statement, Tattoos are still the mark of criminal gangs, very much in Latin American ones....

There got to be a law prohibiting these excessively tattoed creatures from entering Kingdom.

Look around you in Thailand, almost anyone working in the entertainment industry is covered in them, should they be removed from the Kingdom?

Are you suggesting all heavily tattoed people make trouble?

Once in a lifetime?

The way he looks he spent probably more of his life behind bars than outside.

Time in a Thai prison would be a once in a lifetime thing. Swedish prisons are like Ibis hotel rooms. Maybe even better.
