Blast from the Past - 60's, 70's, 80's,90's Music (2023)

We had our wonders in the UK, an embarrassing overflow of talent from The Beatles, Stones, Floyd, Led Zep, The Who, Hawkwind, etc to the folk talents of Roy Harper, Fairport, etc.

But for me, conscious of how small the UK was, to hear those US bands from the West Coast, with their sense of space and country imbued in their music was a joy indeed

Yesterday my Thai wife started singing

"You are my sunshine" circa 1930's.

She came across it on the net somewhere.

My mother used to sing this to me ,as a lullaby,when I was very very young

I often play Bryan Ferry's version of the song. Starts off slow and mellow and ends high and loud.
