So 1 in 10,000 was used correctly - in your opinion.

Wow, I am always impressed with the knowledge of our experts.

Did you have bad dreams with all those laugh smilies? Or how did it effect you?

:cheesy:

Found the solution !

Everything in this world has become part of the Woke movement, sad really.

A forum is only a forum, for gods sake.

it's not the, be and end all of  life.

Many posters need to get a life.

Stop calling everything trolling.

Like bunch of girls. on rag.

you know, who you all are.

Quick, hit the report button !!!!!!!!!! :cheesy:

Forum for the snowflakes, of Thailand.

Never. I have only called them trolls because they refuse to provide links to support factual claims, the very definition of trolling.

No that isn't what a troll is .

Some people keep knowledge stored in their head and they then write that on forums and their knowledge doesn't come from links and thats why no link is provided

It doesn't bother me, it is over used by troll types. A funny post is funny whether it has a laugh reaction or not, a like still works

One persons serious is another's comedy gold. Have you ever complained when/if I reacted positively to one of your posts?

I don't mind genuine reactions , it just gets annoying when you are having  serious discussion and some posters don't join in with the discussion, they just sit there laughing at posts , as you previously did

Or maybe we could just reply to the thread and make an actual point?

Thats always the best solution, and can add any emoji you want if you feel for it.

Well. I just get confused when the same poster (and there are a consistent number of them) "likes" both opposing views in a thread.

A forum is for all.

its not your personal space.

Sometimes I "like" a post which is well reasoned and supported even if I don't agree with it.

Sad someone would complain.  8 miss the good old days and I'm guilty of using the laugh to mean negative.  Now I will use the love emoji to be negative.

There were hints that this had been coming for some time. People didn't get the memo. Pressing the like button just helps to make the post popular. Probably not your intention.

I didn't say that it was my personal space .

Forums have rules and one of those rules is that laughing at serious posts is considered to be trolling

Its also a bit sad the Op,  can't take a joke  :cheesy:

But some how,  I don't think he will see this. :giggle::cheesy: :giggle:

You sound like part of the problem.

How do you know what anyone is thinking, when they post a laugh at you.

Think you could make some serious money if you could  do

that. :cheesy:

He's quoting a rule of the forum to you and you think that's part of "the problem"?

Ah, so it's only genuine if someone agrees with you, got it.

The laugh emoji on ASEANOW isn't part on the "woke movement"

What is a serious post to an individual, I mean, we are all different in our outlook on life and thoughts.

I like watching those YouTube vids on Frauditors, Sovereign Citizens etc, I find them very funny, but the folk doing that sh_t, think they are beyond reproach....

Are there any on here, I wonder......????..............................:stoner:

“Same list of members continuously trolling on every thread with these laughing emojis.

This is not using the laughing emoji for what it is intended but is being used in a derogatory way for trolling.

Please remove them”.

And sob wouldn’t  you know it, within a hour ,they were removed!

Personally imop back in the day it wasn’t a problem rejecting someone’s opinion , members could make a brief comment like nonsense or something. But then there was the sad, confused  or laughing emoji , eventually just leaving the laughter emoji to be used !
At one time i use to use it a lot until the rules changed making it taboo if used for the wrong purpose but some members kept abusing it , to troll

Happy to see it go !

Yes, being to serious is his problem,

you suffer from it as well.

Lighten up, same as he needs to.  :stoner:

Who is the arbitrator of what is serious or not?

Some people are serious when they post a certain person was the best POTUS ever, personally I believe that to be hilarious.

You used the laugh emoji as a way of insulting people and to abuse them .

Laughing at people when you disagree with them is both rude and insulting .

If you were sitting in a pub and having a serious discussion and you just kept laughing at a person , you would probably get asked to go and sit somewhere else

It's not as simple as that. I can handle people slinging off at me with the best of them. If that's all it was the moddies wouldn't have seen fit to remove it. Despite repeated warnings it was being abused. That was obvious to blind freddy. It seems some people think abuse is just free speech and should be permitted.

There's too much paranoia about this woke stuff. Even Bill Maher, in the wideo above, can at times be a bore about it.

It infers you are all so passive and can't simply stand up and live your lives without listening to that small minority that are a bit over the top. I think woke has always been here, but the woke like say uni students, have a louder social voice and the media picks it up, and then the woke haters get in a tizzy. Then the term woke gets mixed up with people who are simply aware, trying to do good things, and the thoughtful and those who do stuff to make the world better.

The woke stuff is a bit more mainstream here and there in advertising and movies and stuff but not in a way that actually affects you directly in my opinion. Bit off topic but people are linking this to wokeness so there it is.
