Ukraine has always been corrupt. I will never forget the time in Kiev when the Police planted coke (or what looked like coke) on me - took me to the Police station and extorted $700. I reported it to the British Embassy who basically said "move condos (I was renting one) but we can't do anything". It was terrifying but I'm told fairly common. They are gangsters.

Yes, that proves that the whole of Ukraine is corrupt and the Russians can have it. Empirical proof, case closed!:coffee1:

I think it’s immature & antagonistic..     Contrary to what sone halfwitted  posters here think I doubt many Russians here feel any degree of support for the actions of their government

Your avatar appears to be infected by the covid.  I'd be more worried about that then what t-shirts we should all be wearing.   And if Putin is a dictator then Biden is a terrorist.  Time to

  • I didn't wear an Iraqi t-shirt when the USA and its lapdogs decide to bomb the place back into the Stone Age all those year ago so I shan't be wearing a Ukraine t-shirt now.

While the invasion is history it happened one year ago so not exactly ancient history.

And no one but Putin apologists and the very disturbed challenge that undisputed fact. Which one are you?

No it didn't. You don't even know the basics do you?  I suggest watching Professor Mearsheimer's (PhD Cornell) videos on the causes (Chicago University) or is he a Putin apologist too?

Bright yellow jersey with SAMSUNG in big letters. I think it was Chealsea away or training day kit I don't know anything about "soccer" I liked the color. Learned real fast  not to wear into a bar area in CM the reactions ranged from  "l luv U man" hugs from drunk to open hostility. That is football now we are talking about whole nations in internecine conflict.

Maybe put the flag in your window like I see at my condo but better not make oneself a target for someone who might not be having a nice day.

Exactly, yet the PM is strutting around the world as if he was important.

I was hassled in Edinburgh pubs for wearing a green jacket.

My friends refused to use a green tupperware lunch in Glasgow, prepared by my mum.

I was nearly killed in Madrid for wearing a Guardiola no 5 shirt.

Wearing a Ukraine t-shirt among russians is not wise and very woke.

Have you been there much?  any personal experience at all?  care to share?  maybe you think all personal experience is worthless - I have been 17 times.

Nato came to close, thats it! And also other small problems with logistics and a number of left behind russians who where suffering. As well the corruption and Nazis was easy to use in his propaganda.

Putin will loose, but how much will it take of human suffering and how much is Europe and Usa willing to pay for peace?

NATO is just a cover story excuse for Putin and you and many others bought his lies.

We just cannot allow Putin to win. This must be the end of his murderous regime and we just can't put a price on it.

Cant back out now, can we? How would that look? Only if a future president promise to stop supplies and leave europe for themselves, then, it will be difficult, but still manageable. As you say, it is a war we can not loose.

I block trolls. Sadly we can still see the 'ignored' ones on other people's replies.

In the US sports jerseys and hats are substitutes for gang color. They don't really target "civillians" actually but say if you are mistaken for a rival  in certain areas could get you killed too.

His theories have long ago been debunked. But I get it Putin apologists love him. The guy who predicted Russia would never invade.

On what planet do you really live? I had a discussion with you in the westbank tread to, and you handing out accusations as once you read something you do not agree with. It is okay to be a little bit realistic sometimes, and see the reasons, not only the result of it.

Just save your condemning short sighted accusations, it doesnt make it a better argument.

I don't care if you've been to Ukraine 170 times.  Your personal experiences in Ukraine don't change the fact the Russia invaded Ukraine, and no amount of fake coke will change that.

Understand now?

I live on the planet where it is well known that Putin doesn't consider Ukraine a separate nation from Russia.

So you have never been once... or Russia for that matter. You just think you know all about it from CNN/MSNBC etc.  fair enough we are all entitled to our opinion   ????

Oh, man and everyone else, this is politics, world politics, and when people is so one side sighted, then they become part of the problem, not the solutions!

Nobody remember Bay of pigs? I wasn't born, but I learned the story!

Talking about banging your head in the wall!

He's a world renown expert on international relations but I do get it that your bias will trump all of that. It's fine whatever we all think on this forum the war is ugly and devastating to the people of Ukraine especially and it must end. We can agree on that I hope.

It must end and Ukraine must win.

If not Putin will continue and China will see the west as a paper tiger.

The best way to prevent ww3 is to beat Putin including Crimea asap.

Peace negotiations are impossible with Putin except if you want to surrender.

I’m wearing one right now, all those people killed should be remembered.  Maybe my shirt can save millions more.   I’m not afraid of supporting the suffering.  In Burma, I wear shirts that support Jade merchants.   Iraq war I wore red white and blue.   Get that oil!  China, I protest against human rights.   In America, shirt says I won’t shoot you.  In big letters…I haven’t shot anyone this Year  Month  Week  Today.     Usually I wear a T-shirt that says….if you are slave of any kind, raise your left leg and right leg.   I’ve saved millions.

don’t be afraid.

You're in a neutral country with no dog in the fight.

If you have a dog in the fight?  Well, wear Ukrainian colors and go right up the Russian tourists and tell them what you think about them, their country, and their leadership.  Poke them in the sternum like Joe Biden does.  Heck, spit on them!  Enjoy your hospital stay;
or
Live and let live.  (That's a good motto to live by as an Ex-Pat).

I've been here 15 years and trust me - I don't hang an American flag in front of my house and proselytize US foreign policy.

But in my humble opinion - Go for it.  If you get hurt?  Don't whine and cry on the forum.

Perhaps off topic, but related to it none the less; I'm proud to say that I was once asked to leave a bar in Korat by its American owner for wearing a Ho Chi Minh T-shirt.  And that was in the 80s.

Interesting that the US, Russia, and Thailand flags are all - Red, White, and Blue.  It's just how the colors are arranged.  ????

Stay neutral.  Enjoy your stay without creating problems in your host country.

The American owner was probably a Vietnam War vet.

I'm not Thai.

If Putin wins and then China invades Taiwan do you think Thailand will stay neutral?

And now you're just trolling. Of course, that's what people do when they've got nothing.

But hey, good job being one of Putin's useful..........

IMO that's looking for a faceful of fives from a Russian and if any Thais realise what you are doing a punch up with them. They don't want any stupid farangs stirring in their country.

Want to make silly protests like that, go to Moscow and do it.
