__________ area lad held in Thailand for shopping at 7/11. Family told trying to contact son but are unable to.  British Embassy declined to get involved other than to inform his parents of his detention.

 

(insert name of knob) was looking for something to eat at 7/11 late at night as he needed a snack. The staff of the store left the store and locked him in and refused to open the door for him.

 

Thai police were called and (insert name of knob) was arrested and is remanded to Thai custody without bail.

 

A GOFUNDME page has been established so that his parents can afford a Thai lawyer and air and hotels for his dad to go see him for moral support.  The total needed is 80,000 pounds so dad and son can stay in a reasonable hotel while this gets rectified and the son is allowed to leae the country

An acquaintance of mine tried buying alcohol after 2am (probably already drunk)  he was told "no can not'' so taking them back, one  dropped on the floor, they then told him "you have to pay'' he said ''No can not, that would be selling it" and walked out.  Mind you though he is a Dick head.

Going behind the counter which is strictly staff only is trespassing.   Doing it at night gets you a heavier charge.
