Lt. Gen. Patchasak reckons the 77 year old was looking down at the ground and looking up, not sleeping.

Or nodding?

Problem solved. But wait a minute wearing glasses or having grey hair is not a good look for Thai elite. Ok back to “I was calculating important figures in my head. I best do that with my eyes closed to minimize distraction. I’m always calculating figures in my head. Jing jing”

From the picture in another thread, I would disagree, but he did look like he was ready to fall out of his chair, at which point he would definitely be "grounded"

"Blah blah blah blah blah!"

You're promoting "ageism!"

I'm in my 70s.  No I'm not.  I'm promoting realism.  There comes a time to retire for the betterment of society.

Prawit?  Doesn't get it.  And I'm speaking globally.  After 65, it's time to retire from public office and hand the reigns of power to a different generation.

He seems increasingly obsessed with the ground, if he's not staring at it, he often almost takes a dive for it, saved only by young fawning grovellers.

One day he will make contact.

Likely the only "contact" he will ever have in his long undistinguished military career.

will the denial ever stop ?

No.

He borrowed the watches.

His friend is dead.

So will he be, soon

He wasn't asleep.

He wasn't asleep.

He wasn't asleep.

He wasn't asleep.

How old is he? How often does he lie?

I know. Baby comes to mind. But babies don´t wear Rolexes they borrowed from a friend who is now dead and can´t speak for himself. ????

Complicated, right?
