Phuket – A pickup truck driver who escaped serious injuries after he slammed into another truck in Rassada believes he has been helped by his special religious amulet and also blamed the wet road for causing the accident.

The Phuket City Police was notified of the accident at about 1:00 A.M. on Friday (July 21st) on the Chalerm Phrakiet Rama 9 Road (Bypass Road) in Rassada, Mueang Phuket.

 

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the damaged pickup truck and a second larger truck on the road.

Damn, gotta get me one of those amulets, by this afternoon they will be three times the price!

Not his fault.  The road was wet.  What can you do?

Whilst this nonsense continues nothing will improve on Thai roads.

Why the Thai goverment does not require them as standard equipment installed in every vehicle in Thailand is beyond me, It would go a long way toward reducing, and some say eliminate the terrible loss of life occuring in Thai roads.

what will he say on the day he dies? that he's lost his special religious amulet?

If the Amulet was any good he wouldn't have had the accident in the first place to my way of thinking - Poor driving skills is the reason for the accident ..........LOL

It's bad enough having to listen to these Amulet stories ,    but to have the Police agree that the accident was caused due to wet roads  is  even  more stupid ....TIT

He appears to have had only the "Life Saved In Event Of Traffic Accident" amulet.

 

He seems not to have had the "Prevents Traffic Accidents In Wet Weather" one.
