I really do not think some do know what it takes to be good married in Thailand and what it really involves. Most women who chases foreigners have a reason one way or the other. If a good match, it involves an educated man for an educated woman with no previous history.

That is a good question - not just with cashiers.

 

I remember a girly-bar with a couple of hot university girls. Later one of them worked as property agent in our building. This time with office clothes. I guess not too many people who didn't "know" her would have thought about her past.

He was introduced to me – a Brit working in Hong Kong – and he told me that Western girls were too difficult, so he preferred to find an Asian spouse. The past didn't matter, the future did...????

Lot of of men here would have no compassion or care about what happens in the poor farmer community.

They are not interested in the culture or what poor thai peoples situations are like.

And even if the girls have a half decent education and a job, many of those jobs don't have a good salary.

One of my favorite bar girls was an accountant. Before she worked in a bar she worked in accounting. According to her she had 16k salary. Not enough to pay for a decent school for her son. So she looked for a sponsor and found one in a bar.

I knew a hot little bar girl.
