There will be certain individuals who will be extremely concerned over his return as they are the ones who plotted his downfall and made his sisters tenure so problematic. Assurances will be sought for their safety as well as for Khun Thaksins. They blighted him and his family and wrongs will need to be made right.

It will be interesting to see which rats run for cover.

Prem has now long passed. Lay all blame on him then move on.

The process involves police contingents and immigration authorities handling the situation based on legal protocols, ensuring a fair and efficient course of action without detention.

Nice if you can afford it...

...but if things don't pan out the way he wants, then he's a serious flight risk. He's probably got so many passports that the only way to ensure he stays in Thailand is to lock him up until the legal process is over, one way or the other.

How to divide the money???

2.5 hours for the whole process...

Does that start with arrest when he sets foot on Thai soil and immediate long-term detention.... or.....

PLease publish the full detail of the process which will take 2.5 hours. The public is entitled to know.

Why should there be any special arrangements? He's a convicted criminal, sentenced to 12 years in jail and never served even 1 minute.

Assistant Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, Lieutenant General Prachuap Wongsuk, has called for an urgent meeting with relevant officials, including immigration police, border patrol police, local police, and others.

No need to rush, he's waiting for his spectacles to be made.

You don't think he hasn't been back to Thailand anytime, firstly he normally flys in a private jet, drop into Cambodia, helicopter to anywhere in Thailand, stay for a day or more, have some meetings, splash some cash, and off he goes again. Who knows, Thailand is a very porous country. He could be here already! Don't forget he has been in Cambodia, Singapore, HK in the last few weeks

This coordination involves security deployment, traffic management, and facilitating smooth proceedings, with an estimated time of around 2.5 hours for the entire process.

Huh, just like the Police VIP escort for rich Chinese tourists, except... paid by tax payers.
