Snack time

Plastic cheese goes good.

Even better melted on toast (white) with cabanossi and gherkin.

Fake cheese slices? What happened? Have you depleted the budget? 😊

Seriously, buy real cheese. There are some things that just aren't acceptable in a thread dedicated to good eating. Cheese slice product....? What is that? Looks like Processed cheese. Have some respect for your insides 😊

Yea, I can't do 'cheese products'.   Against my Philly, Deli eating religion ...

Those preservatives are giving me longer life :cheesy:

Besides, what you don't eat, the body makes ... 🙄

That's my story, and I'm sticking with it.

@ 1500 hrs ... again.   CheeseSteak with a side of Shrimp cocktail.   Seemed to have extended my overnight fast, as I do have a kg or 3 to lose.   Almost on a OMD diet :coffee1:

Still need my early evening snack, or I can't sleep, if hungry.

Breakfast?  Had lunch at 1:30 pm,

"Break Fast" is your first meal after a period of fasting.   Which I start at 2000 hr / 8 PM.

Usually around 1100 - 1200, followed by a walk in the park or surfside with our dog.  Easiest way I found to maintain a steady, healthy weight.

Back to my usual Brekkie and time of eating (noon).  2 large eggs, today, scrambled w/crispy chili oil (dark stuff) and fried onions & garlic on top.   Side of Papaya, as always some fresh or dried fruit around for snacking (cranberries & apricot of late).   Even had a hand full of peanuts to start, since the bottom of the jar staring at me.

Need to roast some more peanuts, and today is probably a bread making day, so a hi-carb snack later, lather w/butter or some cheese 🙄

That's my kinda sandwich.

Don't think I posted this one (bologna) before.  For the anti animal or processed food folks 😎

Tasty & nutritious.  Eggs need no explaining, and Bologna, great source of nutritious organ meat & purines, vital for the body, as long as no gout issues.  Don't consider it ultra processed, as simply some MSG+, and #s, (INS250)  nitrate, which body needs also.   As always, moderation.  Could do without that we bit of food coloring (INS 316), the other is just a moisture stabilizer (INS 451) .  All considered safe of course :cheesy:

Got to read your labels :coffee1:

You shouldn’t cur your bolgna, curls up nicely like little inverted hats, good looking eggs though, I eat 3-4 eggs a day,  I have zero cholesterol problems.

Same as most days, four eggs fried in butter with some cheese melted on top

plus coffee,

I learned about oats being not really a great food for you and decided not to eat a lot of grains anymore.

Stealing some of the dog's 100% Angus (grain fed/120 days) ground beef.   Need to eat more Keto ish, since letting some carbs back in.   Dog needs to gain a kg, and since weighing myself at the Vet, as I thought, have a few extra kgs need to lose.

So you scramble the eggs with the ground beef?

Looks good and quick and easy to make.

Nice.

Oats are one of the best grains to eat, as long as they are cooked and without added sugars, like instant oats in packages. Oats get a bad rap from some, thinking they cause a blood sugar rise. All grains do, so eating them in smaller quantities is what's best. This link helps some..https://theconversation.com/oats-and-oatmeal-arent-bad-for-you-as-some-claim-in-fact-they-probably-have-more-health-benefits-than-you-realise-225590

Is that the expensive Proscuitto (ie Italiam ham)?

Not sure I would put that in an omelet.

Put the cheap ham and eat the Prosciutto on the side.

It is a smoked ham from Norway at a bit more budget friendly with 33g protein pr 100g. Net price around 1200 baht pr kg in Norway.

Damn Thai craftmanship.  You'd think they'd use a level when putting the countertop in :cheesy:

OR maybe, I should practice pouring the eggs out of the bowl, they're crack open in, with a bit of a circular motion.   Should just use siracha, and give it a mouth, then it will look like I planned it.

Benesi Plus Muesli con Fiocchi di Avena, Semi di Lino, Semi di Zucca e Frutta with Meiji 'Greek style' yoghurt, Chinese Muscat grapes and Thai banana. Combined and left in the refrigerator for an hour.
