Have a look at Fortune town, MRT Rama 9. There are loads of computer (repair) shops there.

Does anyone knows the following companies in Bangkok for data recovery and/or have any experience with them:

IDR (Inter Data Recovery)

Or

CR data recovery

Or any other company?

Prevention is better than a cure. Save everything up on the Cloud, as well as on another physical drive.

Ooops, too late for that!  555

Does it show in device manager or can it be seen in "disk create and format partitions"?

Try linux and see if it can detect, if yes then you should be able to see the data.

Plug it into other usb ports?

Is it an SSD or spinning disk?

Do some research on your drive so that you can ask pertinent questions as to their competence.
