Miraculous plunge: Singaporean man survives fifth-floor fall from Krabi hotel

A Singaporean man on Saturday survived a terrifying life-threatening fall from the fifth floor of the Krabi Seabass Hotel. Krabi Pitak Pracha rescuers were called to the hotel on Takuapa Road in the southern province of Krabi to help the 37 year old Singaporean man called Brian.

Remarkably, Brian emerged from the fall with only minor injuries, a testament to his fortunate fate. Despite the substantial height of the fall, he sustained nothing more than a few scratches and bruises, retaining full consciousness throughout the ordeal. Following the rescue, he was prudently transported to Krabi Hospital for comprehensive medical evaluation.

Police arrived at the scene to begin an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Brian’s dramatic fall. Officers questioned those on-site to piece together the sequence of events. A close friend of Brian’s, 43 year old Ho Si Ping revealed that Brian had been grappling with mental health concerns, having recently sought medical attention at Krabi Hospital to address his condition.

Surprisingly, it appears that Brian’s injuries were mitigated by a stroke of luck, as he reportedly landed on a clear plastic roof prior to hitting the ground.

Bwian was werry lucky. He is a bit of a  Biggus Dickus, but werry fortunate to wand on a pwastic woof.????

And there it is in the concluding sentence - his fall was broken by a plastic (compliant) roof. My immediate conclusion otherwise the building was suffering the result of relaxed building codes whereby an official was unable to count the number of floors or the ceiling height of each floor was around one metre high

Did Brian explain if his fall was accidental or a suicide attempt?

And yet we still get the moronic comments about someone who might have tried to commit suicide. Pathetic, but hardly unusual on this site.

They call him Dangerous

Brian !

Wonder if the Hotel will claim from him to fix the broken plastic roof.

Something's dodgy singaporeans are used to living in high rises surely they know what to do on the fourth floor

Oh, he would only need to do that if the fall had led to his death.

Might even buy a lottery ticket !!

I thought Super mans alter ego was Clark Kent, not Brian  ????

Although this one did not go up up and away, more of out and down rather quickly

As said before, Thailand has many of those accidents with FOREIGNERS.

So could it be the balustrades are to low? Made, set on Thai height measurements, rules, not on taller foreigners? Or just low as to save money in material and no rules at all?

I ve been in hotels and see them as low to me.

Just checked and here in the west, it differs a bit, but at least 1 meter (demand) high, measured from floor, on lower floors. And then 1.2 meter on higher (from 13m)floors. So set on a persons average height of 1.8 meter?

It is "tourists falling from sky" season already again? Usually more popular in Pattaya and, to a lesser extend, in Bangkok. I stand corrected!

It's called dark humour. You were obviously never in the armed forces.

You mean the job where people kill total strangers? No. Do we need what you term 'dark humour', making jokes about someone who, apparently, tried to kill themselves because of illness? To make jokes about it? It seems that you do. People are strange.

On Asean Now I often get weird ads in French, even though I'm in Thailand, not French, and never ever browse French websites. And on YouTube, I, most of the time, get ads in Thai for products that have absolutely nothing to do with what I watch there, or with my browsing history, or my searches on Google. Strange is that, while almost all ads are in Thai, I also, occasionally, get ads to study Thai! - Obviously, I would never buy stocks in Google, as, despite all the tracking they do on me, they have absolutely no idea who I am... What a joke this company must be!

Perhaps he had been dining out on the balcony with Vlad and made the mistake of calling it a war.
