Deadly Altercation Erupts Among Friends Over 'Hitler' Drawing

In a tragic incident at Ladprao 122 Soi 10, Wang Thonglang, Bangkok, a university student of mixed Filipino and American heritage lost his life after a dispute escalated into a fatal stabbing.

 

Saul Jeremy Tamamago, 22, a student at Ramkhamhaeng University, was fatally wounded by his intoxicated Thai-Filipino friend, Set. The argument began when Set playfully drew a 'Hitler' symbol on Saul's head, leading to an aggressive confrontation, reported Daily News.

 

Upon responding to the scene, authorities discovered Saul's body with multiple stab wounds. Set, armed with a knife, was promptly apprehended. Investigations revealed that the two friends, who shared a residence in the area, had engaged in a drinking session at a local restaurant.

The disagreement erupted when Set's offensive gesture triggered a physical fight. Set stabbed Saul twice before fleeing.

 

Tragically, Saul succumbed to his injuries shortly after being found. Set faces serious charges, including intentional homicide and illegal possession of a weapon.

Most youth that uses Hitler/Nazism symbols don't know much or at all the true meaning of those acts, they use it to express their own frustrations with either society or their poor life's choice.

I guess that depends on the mentality of the general population. Something that goes directly down to the level of education and parental guidance when growing up.

Well near where i grew up in the south of usa last friday night there were 3 separate shootings at 3 different high school football  games within a 100 miles all done by wild teens.  The players and fans ran for their lives and the games all cancelled.  Yes there are a lot of bad Thai apples but they do not have a monopoly on violence.

That is such freaking nonsense. Hitler is often portrayed in Thailand as a "strong leader," and Thais use these symbols to show that's what they admire. Just a few years back there was a school here that held a parade in which all the students were dressed up as Nazis. No one was expressing societal frustrations. They were having "fun." Including the principal and teachers.

I guess it's not too tough to believe though. I've seen Thai kids wearing t-shirts with Swastika symbols as well as "F-You" printed on them. More than likely they just don't know what it means and like how it looks etc..

I suspect that this has nothing to do with the 'hitler' symbols itself (which I assume to mean Nazi swastika) and that one of the 'drunk' men fell snoozed off and his 'friend' saw it funny to draw on his others face....  the fight then ensued...

We all know about the USA and gun violence. There are so many mass shootings there I don't even bother to read about them anymore. They aren't news. They're expected.
