Any WP expert for hacking ?

Featured Replies

Hi, my website have been hacked. Do you know any WP expert ? Cheers

I got a WP hacked recently and the script took over the entire VPS and it was literally impossible to get rid of it.

The only real option is to use a clean backup and move to a new VPS and then update all plugins.

This the only correct answer.

The server is compromised and cleaning it is very hard.

Better to completely wipe the server and start over.

Once fixed, get a free Cloudflare account for your site.  It's great.

Sorry, what means WP?

WordPress. A free php piece of crap which allows people to make their own websites which users can post on and viewers can comment on. It's a major target for hackers. The OP is likely toast. It needs to be resurrected from backups and a plugin named WordFence applied. Plus considerable research into hardening the site.

Ah... OK. Thanks for the explanation. Sounds a little bit like facebooks website for business owners.

Getting hacked is like catching the clap - you only catch it when you don't use precautions and go to the "wrong" places (he said smugly then gets hacked the next day ???? )
