Any cheap gyms in Chiang Mai you know of?

Featured Replies

Mayan Gym in Jed Yod is a popular option, if in the area. Day pass is 50 baht if I remember correctly. Freeweights, machines, mats, even a ping pong table. There are two shops on the same property, Echo Burger and Daily Snap Smoothies, that are good for fueling up before or after, too.

Gold Gym Hillside 4 is relatively inexpensive.  1100 thb/month with frequent specials available at lower monthly rates.  (Daily basis is 100 thb/day, I think.)

Equipment is older but still mostly functional.  (I've since switched to a newer gym but I worked out at Hillside 4 for a couple of years).

It's on Huay Kaew Rd, between Sirimankalajarn Rd and Maya Mall.

There are a few hotels who are open for outsiders to use both fitness center and swimmingpool.

This is one of them, and will look for the other one I visited.

@LaosLover recently posted about doing Muay Thai. Why don't the two of you get together to punch each other in the face. Should be a good work out.

Have you got any friends? who own or rent a condo lots of them gyms never get used

HS sweetheart?

02 gyms are pretty cheap.

I would check the current state of the Duangtawan facilities before you buy anything long term. As always up 2U, but you are warned.
