Popular Post snoop1130 Posted September 19, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 19, 2023 Paetongtarn, the youngest daughter of convicted former prime minister Thaksin, said today (Tuesday) that she is ready to become the leader of the Pheu Thai party, if it is the wish of party members. She said that she is ready to work for the party, no matter whether he has any formal post, adding that, if the majority of party members think that she is suitable for the leadership, she is ready to accept the post or, if there are other people who are more suitable, she is also ready to step aside “because I am for the party.”. Speaking to the media on the 16th anniversary of the founding of the Pheu Thai party, Paetongtarn admitted that she has a deep bond with the party and is dedicated to it. For the party, but certainly not for the people who voted for the party based on the party's promises they've already broken. 2 2

jippytum Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Thaksin has coerced most of his family into politics with dire results. Dont forget his sister is still in exile. She should be wary of taking orders from the con man in chief.
OneMoreFarang Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Is a woman born in 1986 is better qualified then all the other people in that party what does this tell us about that party? But then again, who in Thailand cares about qualifications for a job? 2

spidermike007 Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 It barely matters. Your party credibility has been zeroed out. By joining forces with the guys who moved the nation backwards for 9 long years, you lost any support you once had from the people. Now, you are beyond irrelevant. So is your PM. 1
topt Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Anybody else read the linked article and see this at the end Quote Regarding constitutional amendments, Phumtham said the government is in the process of recruiting suitable people from different sectors of society, but preferably with backgrounds in public law, to participate in the drafting process. He also said that he would prefer a referendum to be held to approve the charter draft, which is expected to be ready in four years. So a "draft" is going to take 4 years........just in time for the next election?
Purdey Posted September 20, 2023 Posted September 20, 2023 Poor Srettha, already undermined from within.

I hope Thai voters' memory is good enough to remember that for the next election. 2 1
