Popular Post RamenRaven Posted September 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 20, 2023 Sometimes it's also the other way around. It's not just middle-aged farangs having their hearts broken by young bar girls. Maybe we were the ones who cheated on them or dumped them for someone else when they genuinely loved us. Maybe we didn't marry them when they really wanted us to do so. Any stories? 3 1 1 2
Popular Post JayClay Posted September 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 20, 2023 Yes, a few. One of which will haunt me to the end of my days. Not marrying a girl, however is not a valid way to break a heart. Unless you mean duming a girl at the same time as not marrying her? 1 1 3

Sometimes life gets in the way and leaves two people in a position where there is just no way forward. Of course, we're brought up to believe that love can conquer everything. But, just as with most things we're brought up to believe, that's total horse carp. 3 2 1

I know this because I have built and "primed" several forum websites myself. 1 2 5 1

Just one of the things that drew me here in the first place, and one of the aspects of life here that I continue to find enjoyable. Back home, nearly everything and alot of people were very predictable. Not here. And it keeps life fresh and unpredictable, and that is a very good thing. At least for me. I continue to insist that Thailand is NOT a foreign country. It is a distant planet, and is less Westernized than most countries. I love that. 5 1 1

I probably did hurt one Thai girl, and if I could jump back in time I'd do things differently. Lovely lass, but too soft hearted to be on the game. One of the reasons I preferred bar girls was that hearts didn't normally get broken when the time came to leave, as never was the word "love" uttered. 2 1
Popular Post RamenRaven Posted September 20, 2023 Author Popular Post Posted September 20, 2023 Hey guys, Men and women are all humans. Some foreign men have broken Thai women's hearts. I've heard quite a few sad, moving stories of Thai women having their hearts broken and ripped to shreds. What makes you think that all Thai women are emotionless money-leeching reptiles? Have you ever heard Thai love songs? Especially when sung by Thai women who obviously think about their heartbroken past while singing those songs? Haven't you heard Thai women talk about the pain of being abandoned by men whom they had really loved? Going through some of these replies, it seems like some of us farang men are actually the emotionless reptiles. 5 1 2 1

Popular Post simon43 Posted September 20, 2023 Popular Post Posted September 20, 2023 When I started to regularly visit Thailand around 2002 I arranged a date with a Thai lady who was on a dating website. She knew that I lived in England but I asked her to meet me at Don Muang Airport on a certain date/time. She thought that I was joking and was very surprised when I actually met her at the airport. Her figure was somewhat 'plumper' than her online photo... Anyway, we travelled around Thailand for a few days and I rapidly realised that she had an affliction known as 'barking mad'! (I was to learn that this affliction seems to affect many Thai women). My partner spent a lot of her time talking to herself. I decided that I would gently end the relationship and told her so while in my apartment in Saladaeng. Big mistake! She went totally nuts, screaming and pleading with me to stay with her (I doubt it was love of my body/personality, rather love of my wallet). In desperation to get her out of the apartment, I walked out of the building, with her running after me, screaming all the time. I hailed a taxi and jumped in. 'Bai nai' said the driver in a slow voice. 'Bai anywhere' I shouted, as the mad woman tried to open the taxi door. I took refuge in the Dusit Thani hotel, just around the corner. But then I remembered that I had left my wallet hidden in the microwave oven in my apartment, and this mad woman still had a key! What if she found my wallet? What if she chucked a reheat meal in the microwave without looking first? I carefully made my way back to my apartment and luckily the woman had disappeared. Just in case, I rented a different apartment in Saladaeng. I noted a few weeks later a new profile on the dating website with her photo and claiming to be some sort of medical consultant. Hmmm. Her broken heart didn't last very long ???? I 4 1 1 2
