The Windmill club in Pattaya will blow your hair back...

Def worth the Google. I love it when they say, "If there's a problem, the Mama-san will straighten it out"

Has anyone ever put this to the test? I have to believe the Mama-san is more on the side of the earner she sees every day instead of the white ape.

Porno in NYC was about money laundering. But then it became a gold mine. Video cassettes of Deep Throat flew out the door. They cost about $2 to make, sold for $79.99. That's $354 in today's $$$.

Porn launched the videocassette, and cable TV. People thought that this new technology would be used to help people learn to speak French.

It's just great to shoot the breeze in a thread where retards are just absolutely flailing.

I'm in Thailand for the time being but hey, if it gets uncomfortable or not feasible at some point I'll go elsewhere or back to the USA.

And this is exactly what I am doing.

My initial idea was to just do a landing in Canada so my wife can get her permanent residency and return. But some of the guys who post here are literally running a 106 page thread about taxation and then I get the cr@p for thinking too mutt.

Why is it nonsense? and why are you soooo upset by it 555

Because I’d like to be able to read and perhaps join some interesting conversation from time to time. But so much of the time it’s just childish idiocy.

Vietnam is essentially free to access for most - if not all - westerners for 45 days. Great country, great food, beautiful beaches and mountains (the Da Nang area is a unique mix of both). Many young westerners here too. No wonder: everything is cheap even fancy hotels.

Americans (US passports) require prior permission from VN to get a visa on arrival.  I didn't know that when I tried to fly from Phuket to Danang last month.  I was denied boarding in Phuket.  My Thai GF was fine.  Thais and most others can get visa on arrival. Of course, it cancelled the vacation.  We'll try again next month.  I got approval from the embassy through an email through Vietnam electronic travel authorization online (about $80).

Windmill is probably the best agogo currently, not as good as it was as the old guard have moved on and newbies aren't willing to do the same things. Windmill 1 and 2 incl upstairs worth a visit

this is the problem with starting such threads.

The other problem with his thread is his speculation of a tax that may never happen.

If it was any other country, your reaction would probably be the same.

Probably, especially from people who have never been.  Only limited visits by myself, and liked it, and even considered retiring there.

Bit too chilly though, but TBH, I'm not exactly a hot weather fan either.   Easier to get cooler than it is warmer though.  Can always go to pool or surf to cool off if wanting to get out of house & AC.

Not an option if cold out.   Did enjoy playing in the snow, first few days of a snowstorm, but that enough.

Any place I need to plug my car into a heater, is too cold for me.

Think W or E coast would be better choice than center, as the Arctic air is a bi-atch and bitter cold, sub -0- is tough to take, along with the wind chill factor.

Free healthcare, if accessible would be a major plus though, if needed.  Wife shouldn't have too much problem finding employment, and at a better salary, if wanting.

Good Luck if you follow through.

Damned. Historical resentment?

yeah, but if you are worth what you claim to be worth, you have many available options and it shouldn't be that difficult to manage your life.

with your (alleged) savings, you could easily maintain residency in canada and spend half the year in thailand.

i'm outta here. i don't even trust you're entirely truthful about your situation.
