Thai politics not much different to many other countries, notably the USA & Russia! The USA gets their intelligence organisation to assassinate their unwanted leaders and with the VP of the day in cohorts. In Thailand they just go into exile and when the dust has settled cruise back in.

Srettha is being sent off on endless glad handing roadshows by Thaksin, just like his alleged kik, Yingluck, before him.  That leaves Thaksin's boys free to manage things without interference from Srettha.   

 

Some of these advisors are toxic like Kittirat who was an utterly incompetent finance minister and was responsible for the suicides of farmers who died like flies when Kittirat failed to pay them for the rice the had pledged under Thaksin's money spinner rice pledging scam.

Kittiratt, 65, served as deputy prime minister, finance minister, and economic czar in Yingluck’s government. Formerly a deputy Pheu Thai leader, Kittiratt has now been hired to share his expertise as Srettha’s chief adviser.

 

Srettha had backed Kittiratt for the post of new Football Association of Thailand president but seemed to change his mind a few days before being voted in as prime minister, saying he “would be better suited to helping out the government with its work”.

As i have said before in another post. Thaksin's return to Thailand was all orchestrated before he even stepped foot on Thai soil, The new government come to power and Thaksin returns to Thailand to serve only a few hours in a holding Cell, then off to a luxury hospital suite and then a pardon and reduction of his sentence. 

Now he is the Puppeteer of the new government,

 

Or should I say Muppeteer, as they are all a bunch of Muppets. 

 

Soon the Tanks might be warming up again.

Yeah but not in the numbers that Mr. T thought they would even PT lost seats to MFP.  Now he has to figure ut how with the military he is going to make everyone love red again instead of orange before the military throws their puppet Mr. T out the door.

 

I have a feeling that while right now he is safe there are those that have chares already lined up for him if he makes a wrong move.  Notice that sister is no where near to come back>

Stupid headline. The "influence" has always been there 100% since he fled the country. He's one of the biggest reasons, if not the biggest, why Thailand has got a government the majority of Thai people did not want. He's the puppeteer.
